1029.8.36.59.15. For the purpose of computing the amount that is deemed to have been paid to the Minister by a qualified corporation, for a taxation year, under section 1029.8.36.59.13 or 1029.8.36.59.14, the following rules apply: (a) the amount of the eligible expenses referred to in the first paragraph of section 1029.8.36.59.13 shall be reduced, where applicable, by the amount of any government assistance or non-government assistance attributable to the expenses that the qualified corporation has received, is entitled to receive or may reasonably expect to receive, on or before its filing-due date for the year; and
(b) the corporation’s share of the eligible expenses of a qualified partnership, referred to in the first paragraph of section 1029.8.36.59.14 for a fiscal period of the partnership that ends in the taxation year, shall be reduced, where applicable, i. by the corporation’s share, for the fiscal period, of any amount of government assistance or non-government assistance attributable to the expenses that the partnership has received, is entitled to receive or may reasonably expect to receive, on or before the day that is six months after the end of the fiscal period, and
ii. by the amount of any government assistance or non-government assistance attributable to the expenses that the qualified corporation has received, is entitled to receive or may reasonably expect to receive, on or before the day that is six months after the end of the fiscal period.
For the purposes of subparagraph i of subparagraph b of the first paragraph, a qualified corporation’s share of an amount for a fiscal period of a qualified partnership is equal to the proportion of the amount that the corporation’s share of the income or loss of the partnership for the partnership’s fiscal period is of the income or loss of the partnership for the fiscal period, on the assumption that, if the income and loss of the partnership for the fiscal period are nil, the partnership’s income for the fiscal period is equal to $1,000,000.
